    Abstract：

    石化的概念最早是由Selinker（1972）在20世纪70年代提出的。石化现象是指在外语学习达到一定水平后，学习者的语言水平不再像学习初期那样稳步提高。而是停滞不前，没有进一步发展就趋于固定，无法达到预期的目标语言水平。基于此，本文针对英语石化现象展开文献梳理研究如下。
