Abstract：
初中英语阅读在初中英语教学中具有很重要的作用，它既是学生语言输入的主要途径，也是学生感知、了解外界的重要渠道。初中英语阅读教学的目的是激发学生阅读英语文章的兴趣，同时培养学生养成良好的阅读习惯。要达成这一目的，老师需要提供给学生一些有效的阅读方法，从而让学生形成良好的综合语言运用能力。随着教学改革的不断推进，可视化教学扩展了新的教学模式和途径。思维导图、时间轴、鱼骨图、标题摘要、文字云图、插图或图表等教学方式在英语阅读教学中得到了广泛的应用。
