新高考改革的核心理念是“综合素质评价”，新高考改革的推进对高中地理教学提出了新的要求和挑战，在新高考改革背景下，高中地理教学需要与改革目标相契合，注重培养学生的综合素质和能力，然而，地理教学面临着很多挑战，高中地理老师要不断寻求应对措施，以适应新高考改革的要求，培养具有综合素质和能力的高中生。
