Abstract：
大学生作为中国文化的传播者，要能用英语表达并传播中国文化。教材是课程的重要载体，对于教学内容和教学方式的选择起着决定性作用。教材的文化层次预示着文化的传播方向，教材的知识多元化滋养着文化传播的全面化。中国文化和世界文化都是当代大学生产生文化自信和树立正确价值观的营养元素，故建议选取教材要适应文化潮流，符合文化需要。因此，对于当代大学生深入了解教材中的中国文化，对教材内容的把握至关重要。
