    Abstract：

    现阶段,我国学校教育教学主要以班级授课为主,这种教学方式忽视了学生之间的个体差异,逐步与我国教育教学工作的发展相背离,限制了学生自身的全面发展,从而影响了我国素质教育工作的开展.因此,为了更好的推行初中英语素质教育教学工作,在了解学生个体差异和认知能力的基础上,积极开展英语学科知识的分层教学,突出学生的课堂主体教学地位,从而提高英语知识的教学效果.
