    Abstract：

    英语学科核心素养包括语言能力、文化意识、思维品质、学习能力四个方面.英语阅读教学是实施课程内容、培养学生英语核心素养的最主要途径之一.本文结合阅读教学现状,从人教版新目标教材的教学实际出发,建议教师通过课内阅读策略指导和课外拓展阅读实践着手,逐步提升英语薄弱学生的英文阅读效能.这不仅能满足学生的学习需求,拓宽学生的阅读视野,还能使学生的学习能力和思维能力得到提升.
