    核心素养的培养有利于学生成长为国家所需要的人才，为学生的终身发展奠定良好基础。由于阅读教学在培养学生的核心素养方面有着一定作用，且阅读教学为初中英语教学的重要组成部分，所以在教学活动中教师需采用科学可行的手段对学生的核心素养进行培养。
