Abstract：
秦始皇创建的大秦帝国在我国的发展史上堪称地标性的存在，具有着不可替代的历史地位，因而也就更难以逾越。而后来的汉朝之所以能够与秦朝相提并论，这不仅是因为这两个朝代有着先后的顺序，也就是所谓的汉承秦制，更是由秦汉时期独有的历史地位和历史特征所决定。本文对秦汉时期的历史特征与历史地位进行探索。
