    环境教育的主要目标是提高人们保护环境的意识。把环境保护理念渗透到初中地理教学中，能有效培养学生的环境保护意识，使学生正确认识到现代人类居住环境存在的问题，明白环境保护的重要性，从而有效提升初中地理环境教育效果。
