Abstract：
初中音乐课程是素质教育的重要组成部分，也是提升学生综合素质的重要科目。开展音乐教学不仅可以陶冶学生的情操、培养学生的审美能力，还能够缓解学生的疲惫感，使学生身心得到放松。随着课程改革的深入推进，过去教唱式的教学方式已经不能满足教学要求，这就需要音乐教师突破传统观念的束缚，创新音乐教学方法，培养学生的音乐综合素质，尤其是学生的音乐审美能力和音乐创造能力。本文分析了当今初中音乐教学中存在的主要问题，并针对这些问题，提出了提高音乐教学效果的一些策略和建议。
