    Abstract：

    根据最新课程改革的要求，教师在教学过程中，应当不断激发学生的学习兴趣，而英语作为中外交流的重要媒介，应该受到学生的重视。传统文化是我国上下五千年优秀文化的总结，是我国的瑰宝。因此，英语教学应该融入传统文化，不仅可以增强学生的民族自豪感，而且，能够帮助学生提升英语学习的兴趣。本文针对传统文化在英语教学中的意义，以及如何在英语教学实践中渗透中国传统文化进行探索与分析。
