    提高初中英语阅读水平可培养学生的英语应用能力，提升学生的英语学科核心素养。应用教学中，教师既要为学生讲解专业知识，又需在教育教学中渗透英语学科核心素养，培养学生的创造性思维，促进学生的全面发展。本文主要分析了基于核心素养理念的初中英语阅读教学，以供参考。
