    Abstract：

    新课改要求初中英语承担培养学生综合素养的任务,为他们的终身学习奠定下基础,但部分初中生的英语基础弱、学习能力差,跟不上教师和其他学生的学习进度.这需要教师运用分层教学法实现因材施教的教学观念,针对不同层次的学生采不同的教学方法、制定不同的教学目标,有效缩短学生之间的英语差距.
