    Abstract：

    经济的发展，人民生活水平的提高，促进城市化进程的加快。随着我国城市人口激增而导致用水需求量的不断增加，水资源超载使用无可避免地导致了水资源环境日益恶化，对人类的生存环境造成了威胁。目前，全国各个城市水资源短缺、污染十分严重，有效处理城市污水就显得十分重要，这也是保护城市水资源的一项重要环节。本文就城市污水处理对环境保护工程的重要性展开探讨。
