    Abstract：

    新课改实施以来,教育界一直在践行素质教育的理念,以期将中国教育模式由应试教育逐渐向素质教育转变,以期符合社会发展、人才培养的具体需要.在新课改背景下,结合中国教育实际需要,高中英语教学核心素养的提法应运而生,为进一步推动素质教育向前发展奠定了基础.英语阅读教学中渗透核心素养的培养有利于提升学生的英语综合素质,如何探索出适合中国教育需要的高中英语阅读教学核心素养培养模式,值得广大高中英语教师探讨、实践.
