    Abstract：

    隐喻作为人类重要的认知工具,也是语言和社会文化产生和发展的基础.隐喻思维直接影响着词语的理解和使用及其相互作用.基于隐喻和语言形式的密切联系,越来越多的学者意识到认知隐喻理论对现阶段的大学英语词汇教学的指导作用.本文从隐喻与词汇的关系出发,探讨大学英语词汇教学中引入隐喻理论的必要性,进而诠释出将隐喻纳入词汇教学的方法及教学步骤.
