核心素养培养是高中英语教学中不可或缺的一部分，旨在促进学生语言运用能力、阅读能力、思维品质及文化意识的全面发展，进而全面提升英语教学效率。因此，在新课程改革背景下，英语教师应该积极契合新课程改革理念，将核心素养作为第一培养要素，实现从综合语言运用能力到英语学科核心素养的转变，实现学生综合能力的全面提升。
