Abstract：
核心素养主要是指学生在学习和成长中，通过教师有效的指导与学生自主探究形成与社会发展相适应的能力。而在教学领域中，核心素养主要指自主学习、实践能力、创新意识等方面。在新课改下，初中英语教师可以通过阅读教学的方式培养学生的核心素养，使学生在阅读学习中不断完善自我，在潜移默化中形成较强的能力。
