    素质教育背景下,教师要加强对学生自主学习能力培养,针对学生的兴趣与特点,找到适合小学生英语阅读的方法,积极鼓励他们在英语阅读中实践、讨论、探究、思考,改变学生被动地学习地位,养成独立自主的学习习惯.因此,小学阶段,教师英语教学中要注重学生自主学习能力的养成,提升英语学习效率.
