    Abstract：

    在当前社会快速发展的新形势下，基础设施建设越来越受到重视。市政道路在城市发展中发挥着极为重要的作用，在市政道路设计过程中，通过应用BIM技术，能够有效的规避传统设计中存在的问题，使市政道路设计与实际要求更加符合。文中分析了BIM技术在市政道路设计中的作用，并进一步对BIM技术在市政道路设计中的应用进行了具体的阐述。
