    英语是一门十分重要的课程，贯穿了人生的各个阶段。初中英语更为关键，既要跟小学英语做好衔接，又要为高中英语打好基础，起到承上启下的过渡作用。而在初中英语中，阅读理解能力是学生需要掌握的一项必要能力，不仅是为了应对升学考试中的阅读理解题，更是为了提高学生的英语水平。因此，教师应在教学中采取多种有效学习策略，帮助学生提高英语阅读能力。
