    阅读理解能力是学生必不可少的能力，在英语中，掌握好阅读能力从很大一方面能体现学生的英语能力高低。英语阅读理解能力主要受文化背景和词汇量等多方面的影响，其中词汇量的作用是不容小觑的。词汇量是英语阅读理解的基石，两者相互影响、相互促进。本篇主要探究扩大词汇量和提高英语阅读理解能力的联系，以达到提高学生英语素养的目的。
