Abstract：

就目前情况，大多数初中英语教师在教学时，依旧无法摆脱传统教学思想的束缚，只注重学生的知识掌握，却忽略了培养学生的学习能力，以至于抑制了学生学习兴趣的提升，最终影响学生的学习效果。为此，本文就培养初中生英语自学能力作为主要研究内容，对提升教师教学效率的方法进行探索，以促进初中英语教学的发展。
