    Abstract：

    在传统的英语教学方式下，很多学生仅仅停留在掌握英语基本能力的基础上，只学会了英语知识，但并不会用英语，甚至有时在进行口语对话时，学生根本不会应用已经学过的单词和句子，英语的总体水平和能力比较低下。在新课程背景下，学生不仅要会读英语、写英语，还要学会对英语的综合运用。这就要求教师在学生掌握英语基本能力的基础之上，引导学生进行自主学习，提高学生的英语能力和水平。
