数形结合思想作为数学学习的重要方法，对提升初中生数学核心素养具有显著作用。研究表明数形结合思想能促进学生数学抽象思维能力的形成，培养空间想象能力和直观思维能力。在运用数形结合思想解决数学问题的过程中，学生的推理能力、运算能力和几何直观能力得到全面提升。数形结合思想不仅帮助学生建立数学知识之间的内在联系还能激发学习兴趣，培养创新意识，对提升初中生数学核心素养起到关键作用。
