Abstract：
在初中英语教学中，阅读教学是重要环节。阅读文本是学生输入语言知识中必不可少的素材，直接影响学生综合能力的发展和知识的积累。在新课改背景下，初中英语阅读教学被提出更高的要求，教师不仅要注重理论知识的传授，而且要重点培养学生文化意识，紧紧把握英语学科工具性和人文性特征，引导学生正确认知英语文化，培养学生良好的核心素养。
