Abstract：
具有鲜明时代特征的教材插图是历史教学不可或缺的一部分。这些插图精彩纷呈，是珍贵的历史资料，生动地反映特定历史时期的社会风貌、经济状态、军事力量、文化特色、科技水平、宗教信仰以及艺术成就。作为教师，应当将这些教材插图视为重要的教学资源，引导学生对不同历史时期的社会、经济、军事、文化、科技、宗教、艺术进行深入的学习和研究。基于此，本文以核心素养目标为导向，对高中历史教材插图的意义及应用策略进行详细分析和介绍。
