Abstract：
随着全球化的发展，英语阅读在中学教育中的地位日益凸显。传统的英语阅读教学方式，过于注重词汇和语法的讲解，而忽略了文本背后的主题意义。本文旨在探索基于主题意义探究的初中英语大单元阅读模式。该模式强调从宏观角度把握文本的主题，通过深入挖掘文本背后的文化、价值观和思维方式，培养学生的跨文化意识和批判性思维。同时，大单元阅读教学将不同的文本整合在一起，形成一个有机的知识体系，有助于学生全面、系统地掌握英语阅读技能。
