从外语教学的多学科属性出发，结合外语教学的语言教学与教育两大重心，强调“英语语言教学”和“非语言教育”，并从品格培养、文化素质培养以及职场能力培养三方面讨论了如何在大学英语课堂中进行非语言教育，加强关于英语学科课程的教育性思考。
