Abstract：
在时代的发展下，新课改渗透到各个教学活动中，英语作为初中阶段的重要组成部分应当紧跟时代发展。在现行的初中英语教学活动中存在应试教育的问题，部分教师采用灌输式的方法进行单词的教授，让学生在课后进行死记硬背，对学生的核心素养的培养造成了不良影响。由于核心素养的培养对于学生接下来的成长与发展有着至关重要的作用，所以在实施初中英语教学活动的时候，教师需要转变自身的观念，通过多样化的方式对核心素养进行渗透，本文就以核心素养为基础的初中英语教学进行研究，希望为教师带来一定的启发。
