Abstract：
随着人们生活水平的提高，对教育要求不断提高。现阶段，阅读教学是小学英语教学中的主要组成内容，通过阅读英语文章不但能使学生感受到其中所蕴涵的大量的文化内容，而且能使其体会到其中深远的思想含义，进而展现出语言学科的教学意义。基于此，小学英语教学应注重英语阅读教学设计，帮助学生提高英语阅读学习效率，提高其阅读意识和思维能力。
