    矿山生产前必须进行地质勘探.地质调查是矿山生产的第一道工序,它将持续很长时间.对矿山资源的合理利用具有指导意义.矿山勘探可以扩大矿山的生产规模,延长矿山的可采年限.在勘探开始之前,必须避免地质灾害.在生产过程中,也要探索资源的准确配置.矿山地质勘查在矿山生产过程中占有重要地位.现在,技术不断更新.将最新的科学技术方法与现场矿山地质工程勘察相结合,可以有效地提高勘查的精度.
