    在当前高校英语教学中,一些高校将英语教学的重点放在了对学生学习能力以及其他专业素养的培育上,有利于为社会培养出更多的应用型人才.所以高校英语教师应当将英语教学重点放在培养应用型人才上,根据学生当前的学习特征和学习能力来创新自身的教学方法和教学内容,从而培养更多的英语应用型人才.
