    Abstract：

    英语课程作为中学课程中的重要课程,越来越受到家长和老师的重视,但由于文化背景、兴趣爱好的影响,英语一直以来是中学生偏科比较严重的课程,尤其是乡镇中学,本文从英语教师的视角下,分析了中学英语教师教学过程中存在的问题,主要表现在对教学标准的把握不够准确、教学方法有待提升以及教学水平的有限,导致中学英语教学质量不高,学生学习英语的兴趣不大,并基于此,从实际出发,提出中学英语教学改善策略,为提高中学英语教学水平的提升奠定基础.
