    图书馆是知识财富的宝库,是培养人才的重要组成部分.学生只是通过课堂学习获得的知识面是有限的,随着素质教育的发展,要求提高学生的综合素质,这样一来,图书馆在教育中显然发挥着不可替代的作用.图书馆,像教师一样,也是知识和信息的传播者.作为图书管理人员应该充分发挥图书馆的教育功能,以满足学生发展的需要.
