    Abstract：

    初中阶段,每个学生都有各自的个性特点,学习能力也存在差异性,教师在进行教学时,要注重因材施教,根据不同学生的发展规律,选择适合的教学方式,这样能够使教学取得事半功倍的效果.英语是初中阶段的基础学科,由于学生的英语水平存在较大的差异,如果采取统一的教学方式进行教学的话,是很难满足全班学生学习需求的,需要改变教学方式.分层教学法正好能够满足不同层次学生学习的需求,能够促进初中英语教学活动的顺利开展.
