    Abstract：

    随着新课改和素质教育的不断推进，学生的主体性地位不断突出，教师作为教学活动的组织者和引导者，要想发展学生们的英语素养，实现自己的教学目标，就需要不断更新自己的教学理念和方法，提升自己的教学能力。本文结合笔者的教学实践，结合案例来探讨素质教育背景下小学英语教学课堂的构建，以促进学生更好的英语学习。
