    Abstract：

    自《初中英语课程标准（2017年版）》问世以来，“核心素养”作为一个“热词”在教育界日渐风靡，以此为导向开展阅读教学，似乎成了更多英语教师的必然选择。在核心素养的驱动下，初中英语教师要做到课内外阅读兼顾、兼修、并举，将核心素养培养完全落实，扎实落实、全面落实。本文简述了核心素养下初中英语课内外阅读教学困境，并给出了基于核心素养的初中英语课内外阅读教学策略，以期为后来研究者提供微小借鉴。
