    词汇是构成语言的最基本要素，是英语的根基。词汇量的积累及含义的掌握能力在很大程度上影响着学生英语综合水平。因此，在新课改背景下，高中英语教师应该重新审视词汇教学的重要性，采取灵活、有效的方法帮助学生提升单词记忆效果，改变机械重复的记忆方式。
