Abstract：
拓展教学即"拓展"的思想在初中语文教学实践中的践履.综合已有研究者的观点,我们可以认为,拓展教学就是在原来教材的基础上,基于弹性预设的前提下,在语文教学的展开过程中由教师和学生根据不同的教学情景和教学需要对语文教学做出相应的调整,共同建构教学活动,以培养和提高学生语文综合素养的过程.本文主要针对新课程背景下如何在初中语文课堂教学中开展拓展教学进行论述,希望能进一步提高教学质量.
