    Abstract：

    英文报刊由于话题广泛、时效性强、贴近生活等特点,越来越受到英语教学工作者的青睐.在新课改的背景下,若希望通过英文报刊阅读教学活动培养和发展学生的英语核心素养,特别是思维品质中的批判性思维,则需英语教学工作者精心设计报刊阅读活动.本文整理和改进了一些报刊阅读教学中有效培养学生批判性思维的教学活动设计,力求打开英语教学工作者的思路.
