    首先对数字图书馆和传统图书馆在信息资源的存储载体和获取方式的区别上，分别从读者（用户）和图书馆馆员的不同角度进行多方面的比较；其次在数字图书馆与传统图书馆的关系上，从数字图书馆与传统图书馆之间多方面影响及它们之间的共存互补关系进行了分析，认为在未来的时代，数字图书馆与传统图书馆必然是共同存在，互相补充。
