    Abstract：

    随着新课程改革的不断深化，我国越来越注重对学生素质教育的培养。在当前的教育中，艺术课程是一个重要的课程。本文主要从美术核心素养的基本内涵、培养初中美术基本素质的重要性、初中美术素质教育等方面进行了论述；本文从新课程改革的大环境下对中学艺术的核心能力培养的四个层面进行论述，促进中学艺术核心素质教育在中学美术教育中的作用有所帮助。
