    曾为交通银行领导的历史人物,可谓群星璀璨,既有活跃于政坛,叱刹风云的历史名人,又有前清状元,翰林儒学之士.叶恭绰先生便是其中之一,他自民国元年三月起由邮传部派任交通银行帮理,同年七月改由交通部派任交通银行帮理;此外,民国三年八月、民国四年十一月和民国六年七月,叶又由国民政府交通部派接充.解放后,即一九五二年由时任国家财政部副部长、党组副书记并兼任交通银行董事长的戎子和同志推荐为交通银行常务董事.足以见其与交通银行发展之渊源.
