Abstract：
英语教师都非常重视对学生英语核心素养的培养,这是教育改革的新要求.阅读教学是英语教学的主阵地.要想提升学生的英语学科核心素养,教师必须重视阅读教学.在初中英语阅读教学中,教师应充分了解阅读教学的功能和作用,存在的问题,并针对问题采用有效的教学方法,提升教学效率,从而提升学生的英语学科核心素养,让学生在学习英语知识的过程中,树立正确的人生观,进而促使人文素养的有效提升.
