    在学生学习英语基础知识的同时，教师也要培养学生的英语核心素养，充分发挥学生的主动性，激发学生学习英语的兴趣，提升学生阅读英语文章的能力，进一步提高学生文章阅读的效果。因此，在初中英语课程增加阅读量的背景下，教师要做好阅读文章课堂教学的设计。教师应优化设计，重视学生学习效果的提高，为学生的英语学习奠定良好的基础。
