为新时期铁路人力资源管理的重要课题。从劳动定额管理在铁路企业管理中的地位出发，就新时期加强劳动定额标准体系建设的必要性、可行性、创新性进行深入论述，介绍铁路运输企业劳动定额信息管理系统的结构和功能，以及在劳动组织中的应用情况，并对劳动定额标准化管理的趋势进行思考。
