图书馆精神是图书馆人在漫长且真实的环境中形成的，新时代背景下，人们不仅要继承和图书馆精神，还要从更为长远的角度分析图书馆精神内涵，进而推动图书馆事业的可持续发展。基于此，文章从人本精神、团队精神、文化精神、创新精神、奉献精神、开放精神六个方面探讨了如何推动图书馆事业的发展，以供参考。
