Abstract：
在教育部颁发的中学新课程标准中，明确要求学生九年阅读数量应达四百万字以上。为满足需要，学者们开展了大量科学研究与实验，以期取得对中学语文课外阅读更有效的方法手段。作为中学语文教育一线工作者，我们一定要在中学语文阅读教学中履行好课外阅读的教育引导任务，既要引导学生在课外阅读的活动中实现提升读写水平，也要在潜移默化中引导他们形成自主课外阅读的行为与习惯。文章，将从语文课外阅读的方向方法和读书习惯养成的角度展开论述，旨在提高藏区农牧地区中学生课外阅读量的同时引导他们养成良好的读书习惯。
