列车运行图是行车调度指挥的重要基础文件。对其进行合理的综合评估，可以反映出该计划运输组织的水平和能力，不仅对运输服务的质量提高和运行计划的合理编制起到指导和反馈作用，还能极大促进现有资源的潜力和运力的挖掘、运能不足的有效弥补，以及地铁运输竞争力的提高。
